A mysterious computer outage has affected more than 850 Kwik Trip and Kwik Star convenience stores across the country.  For more than five days, the outage has downed Kwik Trip’s app and website, affected payroll systems, disabled their store orders and also knocked out phone lines. The company's customer rewards system was also affected and next to the registers one could see hand-written signs apologizing to customers that the rewards system was down.

As of now the La Crosse, Wisconsin based company is not commenting publicly about the issue affecting multiple systems. Read more about this story on our LinkedIn page
