Cyber-attacks Hit Swiss Banks & Municipalities Before Davos Summit
As the World Economic Forum (WEF) gets ready to take place in Davos, Switzerland this week a cyber-attack has hit the websites of several Swiss municipalities and banks on Tuesday. The affected websites include the cantonal banks of Zurich and Vaud, as well as the Lucerne municipalities of Adligenswil, Kriens and Ebikon.
It is believed that the Russian hacker group NoName is responsible for the Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks. NoName had previously paralyzed several federal government websites in June 2023. Read more about this story on our LinkedIn page
