In Toledo, Ohio both Sylvania Schools and Washington Local Schools announced they will be closed due to an internet and phone outage that began Wednesday. Families were told the outage was a district-wide issue for both school systems and that the school closure could extend longer.

In a communique to the families, the school district said, “Our number one priority remains to be the safety and security of our students. Although learning can happen without the internet, this, coupled with a phone outage will cause disruptions for attendance, powerschool, phone calls in and out of the buildings, lunch purchases, and other essential processes.”https://lnkd.in/eg9G26Cc
