Using official Email on Dating and Porn sites Leads to Leakage of Congressional Staff Details on Dark Web

The personal information of 3,191 staffers in the U.S. Congress has been leaked across the dark web. This includes over 1,800 passwords, IP addresses, and the social media data of the congressional staffers. According to the third-party researchers who discovered the issue, many of these leaks likely occurred because staffers used their official email addresses to sign up for various services, including high-risk sites such as dating and adult websites, which were later compromised in data breaches.
