Flexible, Powerful and Well Designed User Interface
PhoneSweep's user interface consists of a single main window. From
this window you can create a profile of phone numbers that
PhoneSweep should dial and rules to be followed when those
numbers are dialed.

Setting up a Scan
To set up a scan, use the add numbers panel, or add phone numbers to the Phone Number Tree according to the first few digits.
You can also create a note for each profile.
Finally, PhoneSweep allows you to create time base dialing rules to set which number to call.

Looking at the Scan Results
When PhoneSweep runs, it calls every phone number in the profile. You
can specify that the phone numbers should be called in sequential
order or in random order. You can specify that each phone number
should be called once or multiple times, at any time of the day, or in
each of the three time periods that PhoneSweep supports.
If PhoneSweep detects a modem, it will use its expert system to
determine the kind of remote access system is in use. You can examine
the actual information that passed over the connection by
right-clicking on the history line and asking PhoneSweep to show the
phone detail.
Or you can get your call results in a graphical presentation format.
Reports
One of the most powerful features of PhoneSweep is the ability to
create reports of phone numbers that are scanned. A
sample report is available
online. The report creation window allows you to specify what
information should be included in the report. PhoneSweep also offers differential reports which allows you
to compare two scans and see what has changed.

Remote Access
PhoneSweep Gold supports a sophisticated remote access system that
allows multiple PhoneSweep systems to communicate using an encrypted
protocol (with 128-bit encryption!) Access is controlled on a
dongle-by-dongle basis. Remote systems can be given permission to
merely observe a scan in progress, or they can be given either limited
or administrative control.
Real-time Alerts
PhoneSweep Gold can send real-time e-mail alerts when a variety of
conditions are encountered. This can be very useful for consultants
who leave copies of PhoneSweep running at a remote customer site:
