NetIntercept's user interface consists of a single main window. From
this window you have access to several powerful tools that enable
efficient access to all your reconstructed network traffic data.
Traffic
The Traffic tab displays a real-time graph of the traffic across your network. Simply highlight a time interval to analyze.
Forensics
Use the Forensics tab to explore your data. This tab allows you to search the database by IP address, name, content type, and other criteria.
Investigation Logging
Create and manage investigative documentation for a single incident, or establish an on-going Investigator's Notebook.
Images
Use the Images tab to examine all the images captured from network traffic in the current database.
Traffic Map
Use the Traffic Map tab to examine a time-domain view of connections in the current database. The Traffic Map has sophisticated filtering
capabilities to allow you to quickly home in on connections of interest.
Host Map
The Host Map graphically displays the interactions between hosts on the monitored network.
Connections
Examine the contents of connections between computers in detail, including transferred files, parse conclusions, traffic session data, and connection summaries.
Packet View
The power of LANWatch® is now built right into NetIntercept. Users can load dump files and view, filter, and mark individual packets.
